Had a lovely leisurely lunch here last Tuesday. Variety of food changes daily, so it's a nice surprise to see what you get. Meal that day was homemade vegetable soup and crusty bread, cheese and mushroom omelet, pasta with sausages in gravy, a selection of cheeses, followed by a large piece of scrunptious fruit tart. Also a bottle of red wine and water on table. Superb value for 13Euros.
If you are hungry on a budget and near Uzerche this is the place to head for. For little over 11 Euros you can feast on good home made soup, ham and vegetables, quail, a selection of good cheeses and a selection of tarts or sorbets. Obviously the menu varies from day to day. No good being in a hurry as the quarry workers get priority but you should be out after one and a half hours. The toilet facilities are very good and the restaurant is spacious and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. In the vicinity is a dolmen and the village is also attractive with little parks for a pre/post prandial stroll.
