Chloe, who took care... read more We were warmly greeted with a big smile as soon as we entered the restaurant. We were seated promptly by the friendly ladies at the front. Chloe, who took care of us once we were seated, was exceptional - very efficient and courteous. The chef serving us was also very humorous and didn't mind us trying a bit of each meat. The food was excellent. As we were leaving, we received a pleasant goodbye, something that doesn't happen often anymore. Thank you for a lovely afternoon, we felt very welcome.

We received a warm welcome from two lovely ladies and our server Chloe was very efficient and friendly. The roast beef was tender and delicious, and the sticky toffee pudding was a delightful treat. We are already looking forward to returning next week.

The room lacked atmosphere, service was slow, small portion of meat offered and parts were inedible due to fat and gristle, chef was quite abrupt with no social skills whosoever, vegetables were appealing cold, tasteless, dried up. May seem value for money with various voucher offers but really not good.

Finally we were s... read more I may be old fashioned but I like to be acknowledged when I’m waiting to be served. 4!or 5 bar staff walked past us and completely ignored us. Finally we were seated at a table that was not set up. We waited an age before we finally saw someone to ask if they would take our drinks order. Was told that someone would be with us soon and had to wait a further 10 minutes to order and for the server to then get our drinks wrong. When we questioned this she said ‘yeah i know. I won’t charge you for them’ ! Food was ok. Desert was good and the only good service we got was from the guy carving the meat. Such a shame that customer service is not a priority in this day and age. I won’t be going back!
