I wanted to show my respect. We all know what happened to Robb Elementar. I'm looking for a nearby Mexican restaurant reviewed the reviews and I said why not here! As soon as I left the place was very clean. But I wasn't convinced about the food. I'm afraid it wouldn't be so much food.. But I was wrong. The drinks came in cans with a cup of ice cream. That was just fresh soda. Iced tea was very delicious, not too sweet exactly right. The food was good! I'll be back. The food makes the kitchen of Abuelita safe! The toilets are clean and have space together with a baby changing table so that Papa can also change baby.... They won't be disappointed. Come on. Prices are fair services super....

I love eating here! The staff was so friendly and helpful. Our server, Norma, took care of us. The food came fast and fresh. Perfectly crunchy black bean tadas, delicious beef on the crispy tacos, and the cheese enchiladas were perfectly cheesy. Accompanied by well seasoned fried beans and rice with a deep roasted garlic flavor, the best rice I had in Texas! Your 87. Anniversary is tomorrow, May 6, and they definitely do it right. Congratulations! We'll be back soon!

Had lunch in Vasquez and it was amazing! The “Henry” was an excellent enchilada combination plate! Met the owner “Quique” the grandmother began the restaurant in 1935. Enjoy our visit and learn a lot of interesting history about the restaurant of his family. Service was also excellent! Thanks Zulema! If you stop being ready to wait a few minutes longer as all items are made in the house and takes a little more time, but it is worth waiting!!!!

Wow... what a visit!!!! Can't say enough about this jewel in a small hometown, but worth rugged flavors packed all in one place.... The new Vasquez restaurant. Fresh food, ingenious taste and the best service on this Rio Grande..

Our server was very polite and took good care of us. The soft beef taco plate was amazing. The corn tortillas were so good and everything was high quality and presented well. The refried beans were the best I’ve ever eaten. The restaurant itself was very clean and the restroom sparkled, it was so clean. Beautifully decorated. This was the first time that I’ve been there since the father/grandfather, Henry, passed, but it won’t be the last. Henry would be very proud of their family restaurant!
