On the main road through Stansted Mountfitchet village, there is ample parking and access for disabled. The staff are friendly and can’t do enough to accommodate. The food never disappoints and is good value for money. A family friendly venue with a lively atmosphere, I would highly recommend a visit.

I ordered the pulled pork, but found it to be overwhelmed by a very sweet sauce. My daughter tried the spinach pizza, which she thought was decent. However, my granddaughter made a great choice with the sea bream, which was delicious. The service was a bit strange. Our server was very attentive at first, but then seemed to disappear after our food was served. It wasn't until another staff member, Lyn, noticed and checked in on us that we felt properly taken care of. Lyn was friendly and made us feel appreciated. If I were to return, I would likely order the fish or a steak.

I’ve always enjoyed coming here but the waitress/manager was rude and when I asked her not to be rude, she didn’t apologise just came back with ‘I’m not being rude’ which she was. I asked to not always be sat next to the toilet and her retort was ‘do you want me to move the toilet?’ A real shame as it was a regular place for me and a friend as it was halfway between where we lived.
