Large trendy restaurant and bar. Mostly commuters and business people come here. Interior design is beautiful. Food is top class, but the portions are small. Bar area gets loud on Friday afternoon. The toilets have the best wallpapers. View all feedback.
What Leanne De S doesn't like about Metro City Kitchen:
Disappointing service and terrible cocktails. Pity as it’s a great location for after work drinks. We came here with a group of 8, we ordered some borrel snacks but due to the poor service and quality of the drinks, we decided to not stay for dinner. Their dips for the bread sounded promising but the mango hummus and baba ganoush tasted nothing like it was supposed to. Portion was also super small for the price. Borr... View all feedback.
Nice place with decent menu, we dropped in after arriving at Utrecht station after an early morning flight. Breakfast menu was restricted to croissants and various permutations of egg Florentine however, great things the lunch menu starts from 11am. We had a couple of burgers which come with salad and chips, tasted good, though nothing outstanding. Serving staff were extremely friendly and helpful and place is pleasant and clean although a little corporately bland in its decor. Coffee was v good very handy to nip in for convenience and standard quality but not so memorable.

Borrel plank and fried snacks were nice. Servers kept bringing order to the wrong table. DO NOT order any cocktails from here. I had the coconut mojito and the Dutch mule and it was beyond awful. People who ordered cocktails on the table were also disappointed. I will not be returning to this location. Much better places to go for colleagues near the station.
An excellent four course dinner. All dishes are prepared with very fresh ingredients and to very high quality. The second floor has good view of the busy center while we could enjoy the food and company with candle-lit cosy atmosphere. We will definitely go back again. This is the best restaurant experience we had in Utrecht.
Nice place I can only recommend it ! Food is tasty, super friendly young staff, they speak English very well. Windows everywhere, which make the place very clear ans luminous. Prices : bit expensive, however generous portions ans over all DELICIOUS. Bathroom : Clean. Atypic sinks, cool ! : Enjoy!
Nice place, tasty and interesting food, cozy atmosphere, good list of drinks. I took beer brewed by women with gember and have enjoyed it. Soup of the day was the onion soup with a piece of bread inside and was tasty. Poke bowl with chicken was very good too.
