My family and I had never before experienced a menu quite like this. Everything was both original and excellent, in terms of flavour and presentation. Nothing was predictable: every dish had a delightful twist, a novel ingredient or flavour but never for the sake of it. The non alcoholic drink pairings were a particularly rewarding adventure, though the wines were also good. All this in a cosy and down to Earth atmosphere, and at a reasonable price (for a special occasion). What more could you want?

The wine arrangement was perfect for each dish. I’ve never tried steamed oysters before they were just delicious! I would definitely recommend this petite but very fine restaurant in Utrecht
