However the service was completely unacceptable for a restaurant where we were paying 100 eur per person. Having made reservations a several days in advance, I was called the day of and asked if I could push our dinner reservations half an hour later due to a glitch in the reservation system. No problem. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a server who directed us to sit anywhere that was available. Our server greeted us after several minutes and asked us a few questions about appetizers that made it clear no one had looked at our reservation (specifically mentioned in the dietary restrictions section that we were vegetarian). Not a big deal. Well after a few courses (that were absolutely delicious) we couldn't figure out where our server was. We had finished our course at least 20 minutes prior when we looked over and saw her sitting at another table drinking. We then had two different servers over the rest of our meal, never knowing who was going to be looking after us when. I was a server in fine dining establishments for six years. Had I simply vanished and ended up at another table drinking I would expect that would be the last night I would be employed at that establishment. I could recommend several restaurants in Utrecht at this price point with the same quality of food, but with service to accompany it rather than De Klub. It's truly a shame that given how delicious the food is, the one thing I will really remember was the feeling of being ignored.

Multiple dishes, all unique and each paired with specific wines. Cost depends on how many dishes/courses you'd like. Memorable meal.
