I have been coming to this restaurant regularly for the past year because it offers some of the best authentic Vietnamese street food in Utrecht at a very affordable price. The vegan options, such as spring rolls with tofu or vegetables, baguette with tofu, rice with tofu, rice salad with tofu, and pfan cake with tofu, are all amazing. I heard that the Veggie-pho is made with non-vegan broth, so keep that in mind. They also have another restaurant by the canal with a larger vegan menu, but it is a bit more expensive. I would also recommend checking that out!
I visited this restaurant and found that only vegetarian dishes were labeled, but in fact, all of them were vegan. I tried the fresh spring rolls with sweet sauce, but I was disappointed as they were mainly filled with salad and lacked seasoning or crunchiness (I skipped the coriander because of its strong flavor). However, the rice cake with tofu was surprisingly tasty.
I ordered a starter and they mistakenly served chicken. The main dish was also unsatisfactory and unappetizing. I was very disappointed with my experience and will not be returning to this restaurant. I would caution others against dining there as well.
