Rintrona’s Bistro - Utica

Very small portions for way too much money. Eggplant was burnt. Steak sandwich was ridiculously small. Fries were portioned for little kids, not as an adequate side for adults. Daughter got Sprite, which tasted like seltzer water, not soda. There wasnothing redeeming about this restaurant. We will not be back.

Went for apps and drinks tonight. Calamari, long hots and wing special. Wing taste like they were fried in fish grease. Couldn?t even cut into the long hots. Calamari was super rubbery. I?ve given this restaurant multiple chances, when Ihad a bad experience because the 1 thing I enjoy is the Florentine Pretzel which was not available tonight sue to ?supplyissues? Cont to go back and retry. Today is the last try. After getting cold fishy rubbery food, the owner only response is ?nohard feelings?. addendum Owner rightfully took the fishy wings and rock hard cold long hots off the bill like I askedof her. Also, what a rude response to a unpleasant experience. That if I had issues before I should not come back and retry?!?!Never did I feel a experience warranted a review because restaurants have off days too. But this one absolutely did. I guess ifsomeone has a bad experience here they should?never try again is what the owner is suggesting. Thx.

We had very positive experience. Our meals were very well prepared. The Sausage Riggies were very good. Enough for another meals. I recommend this place.

Went for lunch with my daughter. Was provided a sheet of Friday specials but being that it was Saturday I confirmed that the specials were still applicable. Ordered greens as an appetizer very watery and cold. Ordered a sandwich off the specials after waiting the cook advised that they didn?t have the supplies to accommodate the special so we compromised. After receivingour food I asked for bleu cheese was given 2 expired containers of bleu cheese, I know this because I tried both. I then askedfor Mayo cook could not find Mayo so we settled in a dirty bottle of ketchup. Bill was $55 for one app, a sandwich specialthat had substitutions (one piece of deli ham, one slice of cheese, melted, and an order of riggies. Way over priced for qualityof food and being served expired sauce. While waiting for our meal the waitress requested that the cook try the macaroni saladbecause the 2 customers it was served to indicated that it tasted spoiled. Service was excellent though.

As usual, the haddock in the traditional fish fry was very good. However, a substitute was not offered in place of the cole slaw that they ran out of. Also, I 'm pretty sure the mac 'n cheese was made from a box mix. After several outstanding meals atthe restaurant, I was disappointed.
