Gerber's 1933 Taven - Utica

The service here is absolutely top-notch, earning a perfect 10/10! This cozy tavern is filled with fascinating history as well. For my meal, I would categorize it as "other," and the price per person is quite reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20.

If you're looking for dinner and you like options you might want to pick somewhere else. Very limited menu!! It was good but wished we had more than 8 things to choose from. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Didn't eat here, but LOVED the service and atmosphere. Old school tavern that reminded me of what it would have been like in the Speakeasy days. No tvs to distract... everyone actually has to sit and communicate . The bartender was VERY professional and old school...didn't say much when I went but made one feel very comfortable being there and he was on top of everyone's needs. Burger was killer. Service was fun and altogether helpful. Even though there are no French fries to go with the burger, it was still good enough to keep five stars. Went to Gerber's last night for dinner and was treated to a history lesson from the owner on the building's history and the immediate area. The bartender, Mary was very friendly and provided excellent service.
