Tramontane Cafe - Utica

The Tramontane is a charming coffeehouse and café featuring an eclectic and whimsical decor. The food is delightful, with an extensive drink menu that includes coffee, tea, Italian sodas, and alcohol-free options. They even have a dedicated smoothie menu! The dishes, while familiar, boast creative twists and international influences, and they offer vegan and gluten-free choices as well. Their menu features light breakfasts, soups, salads, and sandwiches, all with a health-conscious approach. The baked goods are lovingly made in-house by Robin and her dedicated staff/family. The Tramontane is accessible for those with disabilities, with a main entrance and restroom that accommodate everyone. There's also a charming surprise back entrance, complete with a decorated hallway that leads into the main room. Robin and her team are incredibly accommodating to any special requests or needs. We will definitely prioritize a visit to this café whenever we're in town.

I can't believe I didn't discover this incredible restaurant sooner! Everything here is fantastic—the atmosphere, the food, and the wonderful owner and staff. I have nothing but positive things to say about this place. And I have to mention the soup—the portions are simply amazing!

There's truly nothing like it in the area. This hidden gem keeps getting better and better. The food is fantastic, especially the amazing vegan options they offer. The friendly staff and lively atmosphere make it a genuine Utica favorite. It's also a fantastic venue for live music!

I visited today for Kids' Day, and it was fantastic! The entertainment was wonderful; all the kids had a great time with the puppet show and face painting. The food was delicious and reasonably priced as well.
