Don't miss this little gem. The beans are to die for, I'd go back for them alone. Chicharrone were delicious, the plantains were perfectly fried, and the pupusas were so good with the hot sauce. Excellent food, I'm looking forward to visiting again. It's not fine dining but it's 5 stars for what it is. View all feedback.
What Xai V doesn't like about El Buen Gusto:
Definitely something different than what I'd had all over the US. Different kind of rice and beans but the taco were okay. The green sauce isn't as spicy as I'd hope. View all feedback.
The best, most authentic Mexican/El Salvadoran food I have had on the east coast. This food reminded me of the authentic food I had from the Mexican restaurants in Cali, that I thought I would never have back home. We ordered chicken and beef tacos, nachos el buen gusto, pupusas, and guacamole. Everything was delicious and the guacamole was the best I have had, chunky and flavorful, just like I love. I definitely will be returning 100% recommend!
Best Mexican food in the area. I recommend the guacamole and the empanadas!

The Central American food is tremendous. My entree was huge and so flavorful. Th restaurant was busy but service was very quick. The value of the meals is great for what you pay.
This is easily the best Mexican food I've had since I was stationed in Southern California near San Diego. 10/10 would recommend. My chimichanga was $12 and I would have felt like I got my money's worth if it was $24.
