We visited on Friday evening with our two daughters and had a fantastic experience. The food, service, and atmosphere were all excellent, and the warm welcome made us feel at home. I had been here a few times before, but after moving farther away due to work, it’s harder to visit still, we’ll definitely be coming back regularly. Our daughters love the Japanese options, and it’s great that the restaurant offers both Chinese and Japanese cuisine two in one It’s a pity to see some negative comments, as I’ve visited many times over different periods and never experienced anything like that. Plus I know this restaurant through a recommendation from my Swiss family who live near by the town. I’ve been to many Chinese restaurants around Switzerland before, but Suan Long really stands out. I would rate it 10 out of 10 and highly recommend it.
This is a decent restaurant. It is part of a chain of the same name. Suan Long tries its best to produce food that would satisfy both the locals (Swiss Germans) as well as the foreigners. What I mean by that is that most of...the Asian restuarants (Chinese, Thai, Indian) in Zürich serve westernised watered down food because the locals are not too adventurous with their tastes. At Suan Long, you can get the usual pathetic sweet sour dishes as well as authentic stir fries. When you order, make sure you talk to the service staff properly and explain that you do not want the usual rubbish. They offer plates (stir fry rice) or à la carte dining where you order of the menu at your pleasure and wish. I always order of the à la carte menu and have never had a bad meal. Make sure you try the Uster Spring Roll which is a swissified spring roll stuffed with cheese. Although it is nothing Chinese, it really is a good bite to have. The staff are all Asian, the décor is actually very nice and one gets a good feeling when walking in to the restaurant. When in Uster, I recommend it. It is pricier but also far better than Peking Garden.

His non-real Chinese style eating, quite different from how they cook in china. I personally don't like it. also the waiter is very rude, point with finger. will never visit again. I was talking to her, I didn't know her or the owner was. from China. also like the manager treat other workers disgussed me, I really don't think that people should be treated like that.
