they say this is the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world, which is still open in the original building. it has a very large selection of vegetarian and vegan foods and dresses. they put everything they like on their teller or in a takeout box and then pay by weight. a large plate costs them around 20 francs. the dishes I tried were interesting and delicious. this place is definitiw a must if they are in zürich. Just perfect. the prices were good (for a restaurant in Switzerland). my eating was amazing, tasty and perfectly seasoned. the staff was friendly and I enjoyed every minute there. Online reservation worked like a charm. visit this place again when I return to zürich at some point.
It was quite impressive to find a vegetarian restaurant that is so old! We were delighted to look at the menu and find some good dishes to choose from (we went to for the al a carte option) on day-1 and I had the delicious Thai green curry. On day-2 (had to come back), we choose the buffet option which was great as well because we got to taste a variety of dishes on offer.
Amazing veggie buffet, most of the options are vegan and EVERYTHING is incredibly tasty!!! Even non-vegetarian will love it. They also have a menu, but I think picking a bit of many different things it's a lot more fun... You pay by the weight of your plate. It's the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world, but that's not as important as the extraordinary quality of the food
