Menu

On this website, you will find the complete menu of The Forge from Urlingford. Currently, there are 19 meals and drinks available.

The Forge in Urlingford offers a convenient location with ample parking. While the food is typical for a rural town, the chips are a standout. Prices are reasonable, and the family-run establishment has a friendly atmosphere. However, service can be hit or miss, with some experiencing disappointing interactions with waitstaff. Despite some inconsistencies, the Forge is a reliable option for a quick meal on the go, especially if you're craving homemade chips or burgers. Overall, it may not be winning Michelin stars anytime soon, but it remains a solid choice if you find yourself passing through Urlingford.

Was Anonym at The Forge a mag?
Great little cafe with good food, fast service and friendly staff. If you want a light meal on a long journey, stop off here rather than one of those soul-less motorway service stations View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about The Forge:
Nice location in the centre of Urlingford. The car parking is never an issue. I would advise you call in advance to place your order, as otherwise you will wait quite a while. The food is typical for a rural backwaters town. The family that...run it are sound, never a problem. The prices are reasonable. The burgers fish etc max rating of about out of as they are a little bit greasy. The best food by far in the restau... View all feedback.

Great spot and they will stay open if you are on the way..

The burgers fish etc max rating of about out of as they are a little bit greasy. The best food by far in the restaurant are the chips, (or if you prefer the term fench fries) If your in the area, and stuck for options, you could do worse, and the food won't kill you, and its all freshly prepared, admittedly mostly from the freezer. Its probably not going to win a Michelin star in the near future, but you could do worse if your hungry, on the road, between Dublin and Cork.

Stopped in today.. great chips and good burgers. Young woman and older workers served me all very nice.. will stop again If I’m passing

Can not go wrong with this family run restaurant and chipper, always excellent grub and great service. It's a popular regular with my friends and family.
