Butlers Inn - Urlingford

Our eurocar broke several miles from this place. we stumbled on this place hunger, tired thirst on the way to the rock of cashel. we spent 7 hours on this wonderful, venerable place, as we tried to deal with our Eurocar rental problems. si’ead garret john cahill helped us with phones and drove some of us back to the car. They really took care of the situation in which eurocar has put us in. we had a fantastic lunch. her sweet soup was especially big and the beer was cold. eurocar didn't get through with another car. we had to take a long taxi ride back to the hotel. they're stuck around for us, even though they're closed. it is a last for a meal and perhaps a drink or two on the way to their next destination. you will not regret it!

Recommend for some local flair. We had the toasties and they were tasty. Not a fancy place, just a local Irish joint. We were the only tourists there which was fun.

Good dinner, wife loved the curry chicken. Other couple had burgers, large portions. I had a blt with english bacon, very good.

Wonderful pub and restaurant. Food was plentiful and delicious. I had the roast of the day which was roast beef with broccoli, turnips, mashed potatoes, cabbage and dressing. They threw an order of chips. My wife had BBQ steak sandwich that she loved. Nice stop in a small town. Worth the small detour.
