What User doesn't like about Virginia Street Cafe:
The service at this restaurant was awful. My husband opted for the buffet, which had lukewarm food. Meanwhile, I ordered from the menu and received piping hot food. I decided to add a serving of sausage gravy, but was surprised by the $4 price tag, which I found to be a bit high. View all feedback.
I stopped at this restaurant for lunch and to have coffee. It was the best burger I have had in a long time. The fries, coffee, and prices were excellent as well. I will definitely be returning.
The French fries were undercooked, the buffet items were dried out, and the cheese omelet was made with a processed American cheese slice. Overall, the food quality was disappointing.
The restaurant has a charming small-town cafe atmosphere. The staff was excellent and the food was delicious. We make sure to visit every year during the Urbana Oyster Fest and have a meal or two there during our stay.
