Was Wanda G at Libby's Bbq a mag?
On Friday, October 28, 2022, we opted for curbside pickup from Largo restaurant. We ordered the hickory bourbon salmon, which was served with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. I would like to share my thoughts on this restaurant because I see a lot of potential here. However, there are a few areas that really need improvement. For instance, refining their recipes and stepping up their customer service, especially regarding condiments, could make a big difference. I dined at this restaurant twice—once with a group of eight and once with a coworker. The service was slow, even when the dining area wasn't busy. The food was adequate, but nothing to write home about, typical of a chain restaurant. I did try the honey-glazed pork on one occasion, which I found quite tasty, but overall, the quality of the food varied greatly. Don't expect your waitress to check on you frequently; you'll often have to search for someone to bring the bill. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're part of a large group and are prepared to leave a substantial tip.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience because this restaurant was quite disappointing. From the moment we entered, the host appeared irritated. After being seated, the waitress positioned herself at a table across from us without introducing herself and simply asked what we wanted. We ordered three items, but they were all out of stock. When we finally received our food, the waitress didn’t check on us until we were done eating. Although we had the dessert menu on the table, she brought us the bill without inquiring if we wanted anything else. One side of the restaurant had a musty odor, and there was garbage on the floor despite two employees sitting nearby. The restroom was in poor condition as well.

During my last visit, I noticed that the dip portion was significantly larger, which made my recent experience quite disappointing. The serving is barely enough for two people, and I'm not trying to be unreasonable—I just want to feel like my money is being well spent. It appears that restaurants are increasing prices while also reducing portion sizes. Instead of addressing my feedback, the staff member responded with a patronizing smile. When I inquired about getting a refill as a courtesy, she simply shook her head to indicate no. As I left, she wished me a "Have a good day" in that same condescending tone. I can't shake the feeling that if I had been rude or confrontational, my concerns might have been taken more seriously. Unfortunately, I don’t plan to return to the Ruby Tuesday in Largo.

This restaurant was quite disappointing. While the ribs were decent, they didn’t provide enough sauce. As for the brisket—if that’s what it was—it tasted like dry strips of beef that resembled fake bacon, again lacking any sauce. The pulled pork was a complete letdown; it didn't resemble anything I’ve ever tasted before, and unfortunately, it didn’t have any sauce or vinegar flavor. The sausage was overcooked, and the pecan pie was just as disappointing—none of the slices contained whole pecans, just crushed ones. The filling was overly sweet with molasses, and the presentation looked like something I would serve to my four-year-old daughter. Lastly, the potato salad was truly the worst I’ve had; it seemed impossible that it could have been made by a person of color, and if it was, they really need to revisit their culinary roots. I would contest that it was the worst potato salad on the planet, and I know my potato salad! I’m sharing this review because I believe this restaurant has potential. They could greatly improve if they elevate their recipes and customer service by adding condiments and enhancing the quality of their meats—especially that brisket. I hope they take this feedback to heart. I might consider giving them another chance in a few months, but if things don’t change, I can’t see them lasting long.

I was quite disappointed with this restaurant. I was part of a group of 12, and it took a long time for anyone to greet us at the entrance. Eventually, the bartender attended to us, but he seemed overwhelmed, despite being friendly. My brother and I received our meals lukewarm at best, and the queso dip was far from appealing. One of our friends complained that his fries and shrimp were also cold. To make matters worse, my sister-in-law was served salmon with the wrong sauce after a lengthy wait for her dish. We also experienced delays in drink refills. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so I'm not sure what the issue was, but overall, it felt like a waste of money.
