Caribbean Flavor - UPPER MARLBORO

Eating was on the spot! Real Jamaican spices. I had the Veggie Roti without onions, the cocob red and a garden salad no onions. It was a bit waiting and they didn't have all menu items. I really wanted Irish Moss, had no one in a while. So I took a star away for these two problems, but other than that it was excellent. Clean decor, clean bathroom as you can see in the pictures. Owner was cool and I'm always in support of black companies.

I love this place. A hole in the wall and small, but the food and service were great. We had the Ruck chicken, rice and peas, spinach and carrot cake for dessert. Everything was well done and delicious. We keep visiting. Oh, yeah, the prices were affordable. Love this connection.

You don't come here for the atmosphere. You come here for dinner! I had the curry chicken with herb. Both were well seasoned, especially if you like a little kick. The chicken was tender and damp. The greens were kicked right, with some firmness, but not hard or soggy. We were the last customers of the day, so we didn't know if we got fresh food or not. We did. I would recommend trying.
