My wife and I stopped at Harry Ramsden's today, on our journey from London Heathrow (England) to Caerphilly (Wales) and had one of the most delicious Fish&Chips we've ever had, with a nice cup of Yorkshire Tea!It might be a bit pricey but when you find friendly and polite staff, a clean place and terrific food it's definitely worth it.We were very happy! What Anne Barnett doesn't like about Harry Ramsden's:
Membury service station. Very poor. I had a cod burger and chips. The cod burger consisted of 3 fish ‘nuggets’ and the chips were anaemic and tasted as if they were made yesterday. I wish I had taken a photo to post on here. Harry Ramadan used to have a fantastic reputation. Food and service were awful and definitely not worth the money. Avoid! View all feedback.
An embarrassment to the Harry Ramsden name. Rude staff, slow service which I would have accepted if the food had actually been cooked. Just another over priced location to rip truckers off
Terrible. Girl hardly spoke or understood English. Chips so undercooked, I left most of them.
Membury service station. Very disappointing. I ordered a cod burger and chips. The cod burger was made up of three fish 'nuggets,' and the chips were pale and tasted like they had been made the day before. I regret not taking a photo to share. Harry Ramadan used to have an excellent reputation, but the food and service were terrible and definitely not worth the price. I recommend you steer clear!
My wife and I visited Harry Ramsden's today while traveling from London Heathrow to Caerphilly, Wales, and we enjoyed one of the most delicious Fish & Chips we've ever tasted, along with a lovely cup of Yorkshire Tea! While it may be a bit on the pricey side, the friendly and polite staff, the cleanliness of the establishment, and the fantastic food make it well worth it. We were very satisfied!
Unfortunately, he couldn't complete his dream. The crowd was overwhelming. There was no polemic. It's said that someone, or perhaps even she, dreamed of bread cooked in deep oil.
