Best bakery in Upper Hutt! I highly recommend it. They make high-quality bread, especially their sourdough, which is crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. My son loves chess and can't resist their donuts, and I'm a huge fan of their custard pastries. I just had a wonderful service experience that brightened up my day the young dark haired man with a great attitude and customer focus is a keeper!! By the way the pies and custard squares are the best.
Best kiwi Bakery in Upper Hutt I suggested. They make quality breads especially sourdough crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. My son is addicted with their cheese scone and cream donuts and am their custard slices lover… Try not having too much bakery food but this bakery offers too many yummy treats Highly recommend
This is a fantastic little bakery. In the past year, they have made significant improvements in both the quality and variety of their food, as well as in their décor. The team is friendly and hardworking. Their custard squares are amazing—definitely the best in town. Keep up the great work!
The best and most delightful gingerbread-folk in Wellington (imho) and I have hooned through a few. I seem to have a personal challenge to try every sweet thing in the cabinet, I must be 70 percent there... not ever been disappointed. Lovely folk and epic food, get in there whanau.

I had an excellent experience at the bakery this morning. I have a mobility issue, and the young woman who served me kindly carried my donuts to the car for me. I truly appreciated her assistance, and by the way, the donuts were fantastic as always!
I ordered a sourdough bread at Sat-Morte, and it was fantastic! The crust was crusty and the inside was soft and chewy—truly real, proper bread! At $7, it might seem a bit expensive to some, but it was a hefty loaf weighing 1.2 kg! In comparison to other breads in terms of weight and price, it’s quite reasonable. I will definitely buy it again. The service was friendly and helpful, and the menu looked delicious!
We always come here for a treat after my granddaughter's swimming lesson. I am a passionate baker myself and I am always impressed with the great quality of all the baking sold here. The coffee is great too. This is has become our favourite café. Keep up the good work
