Food was pretty good. Seemed basic but tasty. The staff was really nice like they were all over Upper Canada Village. The only problem was that if you eat outside there are lots of flies which were just all over the village that day. The prices were reasonable. You can get alcoholic drinks and good lemonade here. What Trillium Pony Club doesn't like about Willard's:
Service was amazing and staff were nice but the food was lacking in every way shape and form. Extremely bland like no seasoning, food was cold, beef was tough, bread was stale. The only decent course was the dessert. Williards really misrepresented what the dinning experience would be,when on google reviews servers are wearing period accurate costumes and they serve freshly baked bread. Not to mention you are forced... View all feedback.
Good polite attentive service. Beef stew was very bland. Chicken sandwich was good. Marcaroni and cheese was dry and lacking in taste. Local bread was delicious. Really overpriced.
Seated comfortably on the second floor terrace we had an excellent view over the nearby water. Speedy and friendly service from all three of the people who assisted us. Drinks arrived promptly and the food order was soon to follow. Oh that delicious bread! You have to try the Johnny cake, so good! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My niece and I dined at Willard 's Restaurant on October 1st. We were scheduled to view the Pumpkin Inferno at 9:30 p.m. but, because we were going to dine at Willard 's, Julia asked the admissions center to allow us to enter earlier which, in turn, altered our viewing time to 7:30 p.m. (a more reasonable time since we had to drive back to Ottawa after the walk-through). The restaurant service was exceptional and the home cooked meal was delicious. Thank you for enhancing our evening visit. I plan to return to Willard 's Restaurant prior to Upper Canada 's Christmas Walk About . Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$10–20
