Reilly waited on us and was very attentive, informative and courteous. Drinks arrived and brunch not long after. The food was prepared well and was hot when we received it. We were impressed at the makeover from the Old Indian Rock Inn and were suprised The Narrows has been open for 4 years already. Glad to put it on the destination list!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp on left side of building View all feedback.
Excellent service. Attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and silent during dining. More than once staff came by to make sure we were enjoying their food and didn't need anything else. The location is accessible and we did not need a reservation on a Thurday dinner time though the restaurant was full. Highly recommend this location whether you are looking for a quick bite or a slow casual quality dinner/drinks with friends and family.Parking: Easy behind or in front
This is definitely a hidden gem. The inside is beautiful and charming. Great outside views from the patio. Had the breakfast burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. Great brunch menu and specialty cocktails. All of the staff were super friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back soon! Highly recommend!
Omg delicious especially the Crab Dip, House Baked bread and wedge salad. Hubby had Prime NY Strip meal was very good. Our waitress and all of the staff were very nice. Manager came over and talked to us which was a nice touch. View of the river nice quaint location.Parking: Either side of restaurant
I'm new to the area and trying out the local establishments. I went to the Narrows for lunch and liked it so much I went back for dinner the next week. The vibe is very cool inside nicer than a traditional bar, but not fancy stodgy like so many of the Bucks County inns restaurants. The menu is fun, interesting, and varied curated to provide options without being overwhelming. Beer and cocktail selection are great! Food is very good for the price my favorite has emerged to be the sweet potato tacos. Setting is, of course, lovely along the river and canal.
Recently I decided to try a new restaurant I’ve seen in my travels but it wasn’t open during those times. However today a friend of mine and I felt the weather was perfect for discovering a new place. As I normally do I read reviews and looked at photos to acquaint myself with the venue, and compare it to my own experiences after dining there. As beautiful as the Delaware River Valley is there are always new places to try and hopefully add to your list of those you’d visit again.Lately I tried two places that I found disappointing by my standards, luckily this wasn’t one of them. In fact I enjoyed it more than I expected to.Nestled into a hillside The Narrows faces the River so it’s a bit scenic. It’s also right on River Rd so the limited outside dining can get noisy. Inside it has a bit of an urban industrial vibe pleasantly mixed with a few cozy country touches. They could use some good music and some greenery would help. The lunch menu isn’t vast, but there are choices for most tastes. I tried the Burger and my friend had the Chicken sandwich.. mine with herbed Fries (I found a bit salty), and his with their own version of potato chips which were nice n crunchy. Both dishes were satisfying and flavorful with ample portions. The food and the service was a bit slow, but it was a Holiday busy weekend. We both felt we would come back and try more of their offerings n perhaps a dinner. I do hope they’ll offer some more sweets in the future to add to the meal.So fire up the Vette or the Bike and bring your date ,or family, to check it out for yourself. Once you’re full you can walk it all off along the river and canal.. I’d say try it!
