Snack Shop - Universal
Snack Shop
Description
Located near a tourist corridor, the restaurant divides diners: some praise a wallet-friendly foot‑long hot dog and grab‑and‑go snacks ideal for a quick meal, while others report inconsistent food quality, long waits, unresponsive staff, and hygiene concerns that left orders cold or guests uncomfortable. Management has been known to make amends when mistakes occur, but pricing and service unpredictability mean experiences vary widely; expect quick snacks and occasional friendly recovery service, but be cautious if you need reliable table service or consistent food quality.

There was no wait when we arrived, so we ordered a pizza and a burger. The burger was prepared in just a minute and was moved from the heat lamp to the customer pickup area, where we were informed, “there's a delay with the pizza.” After about five minutes of the staff ignoring the customers, they asked if I wanted the burger put back under the heat lamp—um, yes, please? But by then, it was too late. While I was waiting, another customer returned with his burger, complaining that the bun was burnt to a crisp. They took his burger, leaving him with the charred bun, briefly swapped it out, and offered a scripted “sorry about that,” before turning their back on him. I guess the burnt bun was more like a souvenir? Was it worth the wait? Absolutely not—the burger was dry and lacked flavor.
This was the worst funnel cake I've ever had at an amusement park. It was so hard that I couldn't even cut it. Absolutely disappointing.
As for the food, was it worth the wait? Definitely not. The burger was dry and lacked any flavor.
I was quite disappointed with the experience; the food reminded me of what you might find in a school cafeteria, and it was overpriced for its quality.
If you're in search of excellent value, you must try the foot-long hot dog from this restaurant! It was more than enough to feed four of us! They have a variety of options including popcorn, snacks, drinks, and more, but the hot dog was a wonderful find for a quick and affordable lunch.
