This has been a foundation pillar of Greeley for decades. The family will be missed!

Monte Cristo just as good as it has been for almost 40 years. The Reuben sandwich was almost as perfect.

My grand kids and I like eating lunch there every 17th of the month. We always have a great time and get great food and service. I am going to be really sad when they close on August 31st. Tell them thanks for me..

Fat Albert's is a greeley icon! We'll be sad to see it go. So many of my memories growing up were here.

Update, Aug 2024: The recent news of this establishment closing its doors after 42 years brought utter shock to my family and I. My original review still holds true, and I am sad to think that there will come a time when the T-Shirts come down and the 17th is just the 17th. Thank you for the years of memories and no frills that made you a gem of Greeley. Original: This IS the place for a Monte Cristo. Every restaurant who offers a Monte Cristo is compared to Fat Albert's. None of those have come close. Between that delicious sandwich and their poppyseed dressing, my only negative remark is that they are not closer to where I live. Such a Greeley gem that should never change and hasn't.
