What Myrtle Heathcote likes about El Matador Restaurante & Cantina:
guacamole tacos! have got the el matador combo for 20 years, and nothing has changed. the fountain, cheesy waitress dresses, dirty carpet and interior design make this place a happy dive. View all feedback. What Liam Moore doesn't like about El Matador Restaurante & Cantina:
This is how they treat there customers when you order take out. No rice no beans when we asked for them no lettuce tomatoes sour cream, the chili verd burrito taste like a dirty pig. We always dine in this was our first to go order and we have been going for 10 years and we will not be returning so sad… View all feedback.

read moreA local favorite for over a decade, this Mexican restaurant has been serving up delicious food with friendly service. Despite some inconsistencies in orders and service due to being understaffed at times, the overall experience is enjoyable. The nachos are a must-try, with generous portions of meat, cheese, and guacamole. The menu offers classic dishes like chimichangas and burritos, all of which are flavorful and satisfying. While some may find the enchiladas heavy on cheese and the red sauce gravy-like, there are other options like the guacamole tacos that are consistently delicious. The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall dining experience and makes it a happy dive worth visiting. With great prices, generous portion sizes, and tasty food, this establishment remains a popular choice for Mexican cuisine.
