we are from grimsby 200 miles, we live in henley on thames for three weeks. grimsby is famous for its fish. I visited this fish and chip shop in henley twice and the fish and chips were excellent. the squid simply got really nice and flocky cooked and not too much teig and they just cook to not let the food dry out and go cold. we brought them back to our residential property, where we found on the caravan and camper... What barry89 doesn't like about Smarts Fish:
Stopped off for a bite to eat on the way to Henley Town FC. I had small cod and a portion of chips. Had to wait 10 minutes for the fish to be cooked, and glad I did. The fish was pretty good. But the chips! They must have been sitting around for days. Tasteless and tough as old boots. Not a great experience. View all feedback.

I visited this fish and chip shop in henley twice and the fish and chips were excellent. the squid simply got really nice and flocky cooked and not too much teig and they just cook to not let the food dry out and go cold. we brought them back to our residential property, where we found on the caravan and camper club site called henley four eggs and enjoyed our haddock and chips for tee. the owner and his wife were a beautiful couple that originally came from Spain and they were very friendly and attractive. we will visit them soon when we get back down here.
Very attentive and friendly men, very tasty fish and crispy pommes, it is the best place in henley
