What Lia Gatti doesn't like about Meloni's:
Long wait for a table. From time we entered the restaurant and received our entrees about an hour passed. The bread served was like Italian loaf bread. Plain, not a fresh bake. I had the eggplant parmesan, which did not have a lot of parmesan. I felt the sauce was a little heavy on salt. Hubby's and MIL had the veal. This place does not need any reviews. It will be here long after Google disappears. Locals know what they have. As an outsider, I recommend everyone who passes through to stop. It's great. read moreThe restaurant seems to have mixed reviews, with some customers mentioning long wait times, overcooked and tough veal, and outdated decor. However, there are also positive comments about the delicious food, attentive service, and warm ambiance. Many customers seem to appreciate the homemade dishes and friendly staff. Overall, it appears to be a decent Italian restaurant that could benefit from some updates but still has a loyal local following and attracts visitors passing through the area.
Old school Italian! I've been here since I was a kid. love her sose. it is the best in the city of my opinion.
