What Lia Gatti doesn't like about Meloni's:
Long wait for a table. From time we entered the restaurant and received our entrees about an hour passed. The bread served was like Italian loaf bread. Plain, not a fresh bake. I had the eggplant parmesan, which did not have a lot of parmesan. I felt the sauce was a little heavy on salt. Hubby's and MIL had the veal. They both complained that it was overcooked, stringy and a lot of gristle. Our waitress was good at r... View all feedback.
Great food, good service. What more can you demand. I had the taste of Italy a selection of Italian favorites and my husband had served the Veal Cutlet with Pasta. Homemade and delicious. This is a comfortable atmosphere and perfect for an Italian lunch or dinner.
On the way through the city to eat. Mozzarella sticks were great and the cheese melted all the way through when I suspect they were probably homemade. As a guest I had the eggplant parm that I have never eaten and it was safe to say it was a good experience. In addition, all employees are very attentive to the customers and foods are quickly released.

That's one of my home restaurants I haven't heard for many years. I was in town and found that they had specials every day. I went with a party of 3 on a Tuesday night Veal Parmesan night. We had waited about 15 minutes and were the only party that wants as they were full. When we sat, our order was taken immediately. Two of us ordered the calves that came with one side and salad. Salad and bread came out quickly. Since our order we waited 45 minutes until our Entrées were out. The taste and the amount were good. However, the calves were overboiled, hard and strict (grief). The service and prices were good. I ate my dinner, but someone else in my party couldn't. They couldn't even cut the calfs. We were honest about the calfsal when we asked how everything was. The server removed the vein from our exam and only for the pages that were eaten. The reason for the lack of stars was waiting and calf. I hope for a better experience next time.
