The sago gulaman was bitter, so I returned to the restaurant to speak with the manager, who I assumed was in uniform. Instead of addressing my concern, she asked if I had tried the gulaman before and mentioned that another customer hadn't complained about it. Rather than requesting a refund for the $5, or at least half of it, I decided to just let it go. Arguing over $5 didn’t seem worth my time. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue at some Filipino restaurants (I'm Filipino myself), where customers face difficulty when bringing up complaints about their food. I ended up losing $5, and Goldilocks gained $5. Very disappointing customer service!

The flavor isn’t the same anymore and can sometimes be quite bland. Now, the only item I order from the food menu is ham during the holidays, and only at the beginning to ensure I get a fresh batch. There was one time when I received old ham that was already slimy. The service, however, is still good; the staff is always friendly.

Great cakes. Mini empanadas are filled nice and are crispy. Pork buns are amazing. I have never had a bad experience with anything I have ever bought from here. read more Great cakes.
