It was really unexpected when I randomly walked into this place. The food was excellent! My friend and I ordered few dishes and there are all very flavorful and tasty. Dim sum here was mid at best, and that is certainly being generous. The food came out so slow, that 40 minutes into our stay we still hadn’t received all our ordered items. Ended up cancelling the remaining orders. 15% mandatory tacked on tip? lol. Never coming back here. The manager said there was a sign out front that mentioned this. No such sign! Name and shame them! I dined in with my 2 kids at this restaurant. I am so surprised that they automatically charged us a tip of 18%. Please note that California food servers are paid at least minimum wage unlike other states, therefore Tip should never be mandatorily charged to customers. This makes servers entitled to it, and the restaurant owners make it so unfair by passing the burden to the customers. It is their obligation to pay their staff well. There are many persons working on minimum wage that are not having tip. Also, the restaurants smells old and it stinks. Please renovate.

I thought it is illegal in 2024 for restaurant to automatically add the gratitude to the bill party of 3 and to my surprising, I went to this restaurant last week and found the bill automatically added 16.5% tip. This practice was not respectful to the customers, In fact, we normally tip 18-20% depending on the service, and I thought the service was great and deserve 20%, but if they insist charging 16.5%, I am fine.: The food is Ok, and bigger portion compared with other dim sum restaurants in the area. We ordered Chicken feet, 3/5 BBQ Pork Bun, 3/5 Prosperity Fortune Pot, 5/5 Shrimp dumplins, 4/5 Pan Fried Lee Gor, 5/5 Salt and Pepper Tofu 5/5 Beef Haslet 4/5 Total before tax: $61.72 Tip: $10.18 mandatory?? Total: $78.53 I think the price is good. The service is pretty good and the lady is very attentive in a busy Saturday morning. The lady explained in detail what the beef Haslet includes and appreciate. The decoration is outdated, and not fancy to say the least. Not impressed. Location is great and easy to find parking space. Overall, I think it worth the try if you do not care about the $16.5% tip. It is an alternative dim sum or Cantonese style restaurant if you happen to be in the area. I probably will visit again.
The service for this place is super extreme awful !!! I have no idea how their boss hired people. If you don't speak Cantonese, I highly recommend don't go this place ever! I don't speak Cantonese, and I ordered food online, and app showed ready to pick up, so i went. When i got there, the guy at the front were busy, then i waited, after around 5 mins, still no one asked me anything, then I asked that guy is my food ready yet, he said it s over there on the table, if is not there then is not ready, you need to wait. Fine, i waited another 15 mins, still nothing, then i asked him again, can you please check is my food ready yet, the app showed ready 30mins ago. Then he threw my recipe in front of me, said you look yourself, here is you order, is not yet started! What s wrong with this guy! What s wrong with this place! If you don’t ever cook the food, then DO NOT click your button said ready to pick up! I called the customer service tried to ask for a refund, this place told customer service that i already picked up my food! Lier ! Check your camera if I ever pick up the food! They treated other cantonese speaking customers with huge smile face, with me just such awful attitude! Superbad experience! Don’t go and don’t ruin your day.
I recently dined at this dim sum restaurant with my family tonight. We ordered three dishes, and while the food was excellent, the service was below average. I was disappointed to find a 14% tip automatically added to our bill without prior notice. Additionally, I observed that VIP customers could select their own tip amount. This inconsistency in tipping policy may deter future customers.
