Station 81 Drink Eatery

I?ve never heard of a restaurant or bar that sells wine, but not by the bottle. I used to work in restaurants for 25 years. Selling wine by the bottle was our bread and butter!! If a couple ordered two glasses of wine, wouldn?t you just upsell to abottle? You bet. But not here. Here it?s only by the glass. Or so they say. Terrible service. It?s too bad, too, because I?m aresident of down town Saint Paul. Grateful I don?t work in service anymore. The manager couldn?t even come tell me herself. Shemade her poor wait staff tell me. Also, I?ve tried to want to support it. Never again.

I do the St. Paul art crawl twice a year and always look forward to ordering off the menu here, it?s too far away from my home for me to otherwise drop in. The fries have a great seasoning the white bean burger is delectable.

Love the happy hour, service and great food and drinks. Bonus is it's never overly crowded, so you can have a conversation. And you can't beat the beautiful Union Depot view!

I got the white bean minestrone and the fried brussel sprouts. The soup is very good, and I really liked the fried brussel sprouts. Great place to duck into to stay out of the rain.

Grabbed a burger and beer before the Loons match. Service was fast, friendly, and the food was delicious. Spent less on beers and dinner for the two of us then we would have spent on one of us to eat at the game. Walked out the door and onto the greenline. Gonna have to do this again, and again, and again .
