T... read more This is, without a doubt, the worst Mexican restaurant I've ever been to. We were in town for a funeral and found this place just a block away from our hotel. The food tasted like bland, unseasoned dog food, and the portion sizes were no bigger than kids' meals, which we all noticed immediately. Our server mixed up several orders, and my wife's meal didn't arrive until everyone else had finished eating. To make matters worse, a woman came to our table to inform my wife that we were required to leave a 15% gratuity, which we hadn't realized. My wife thought we hadn't paid yet, as someone in our group had covered the bill for us. This was incredibly frustrating, and by this point, our experience had become a nightmare. We ended up leaving a $30 tip, which was around 25%, but we will never return. Please, do yourself a favor and choose any other restaurant instead of this one.

We waited over 45 minutes for our food,... read more I visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and found the lighting to be too dim. The staff was unfriendly and rude. We waited over 45 minutes for our food, which never arrived, so we decided to leave with our family. Although we did receive drinks and chips with salsa after about 20 minutes of sitting down, the place wasn’t particularly busy at the time. I'm not sure why everything took so long, but since this is a new business, I hope they can streamline their operations and find better employees.

Our order included everything from the pancake plate to huevos Tejanos, and each dish was a delightful, home-cooked comfort food. The staff were friendly, the restaurant was clean, and it had a cheerful, cozy decor. I highly recommend it and will certainly return on our next trip to town.
