The roti was a bit soggy but still alright and a single piece is price well for a snack. The rendang was interesting. Pretty tender beef in a sea of sauce with an unusual (maybe peanut-based) flavour and some slow burn spiciness. Rather expensive though and I prefer other Malay places. View all feedback.
What Kirstin Jacobs doesn't like about Sydney Kopitiam Cafe:
A quiet cafe along the Harris Street. I tried the Nasi Goreng in the restaurant. It lacked both the spice and the technology or wok hot. The Keropok or Cracker, however, was delightful. View all feedback.
Last week ago for a quick lunch with friends with friends, which was introduced by one of us who loves the kitchen of their house. We had Hainan chicken rice, homemade bean and chicken ribs. We really enjoyed the foods, taste good. Will come back next time!

We ordered tomyum soup, hainanese chicken rice, nasi goreng and beef kuay teow. The hainanese was a bit cold so did not taste that good, but rest was tasty. Tom yum was a bit spicy. Its very close to power house Museum, and if you want asian food this is good place for lunch.
Tried the Char Kway Tow a week ago and found it a tasteless and no taste, the food found an aqueous taste that probably had from the bean sprouts. Yesterday the Mee Goreng tried, it had so much salt, was not icebar and tasted terrible, contained too much tomato sauce. I do not know how this place survived this long time, such food out. Do not taste the food before serving the customer !!
Beautiful little small shop. The service was pretty friendly. Append the Rendang, who was on the square! Also make sure you ask a pot of rice instead of a small part, as you can share with the whole table! Make sure you try your shaved ice desserts! Grief Grief The Rendang is a must! It has a beautiful aroma and combines well with a lemon grass taste you will all enjoy! It is best enjoyed with a simple steamed rice!
