Soma - Ultimo
Menu
A complete menu of Soma from Ultimo featuring all 48 menus and drinks can be found here on the menu.
Located conveniently near the UTS campus, this coffee shop offers a practical spot for a quick meal. While some menu items were unavailable, the noodles and chicken sandwich were acceptable at a reasonable price with complimentary tap water. Vegan options include fresh muffins and a delicious soy coffee. Good service and a varied menu make it a popular choice among workers and students in the area. The house-made food, fantastic muffins, and proper chai lattes draw crowds, though a smile from the staff wouldn't hurt. The bacon and eggs breakfast, fantastic burger, decent shake, and quality coffee make it a worthwhile visit, despite the slightly higher prices. Vegan options are available, and the cafe is known for its delicious offerings, packed with customers eager for the homemade food.

Was Rachael at Soma a mag?
My soy flat white was perfectly not butter, hot and filled with caffeine. Good service and prompt coffee orders. Great corner shop with a slightly dark atmosphere but convenient and friendly. View all feedback.
What Antoinette Daniels dislikes about Soma:
I ordered a Magic (Coffee Double Ristretto, 3/4 Milk), they brought me a cappuccino with 3/4 Milk. My breakfast was poached eggs on sourdough, eggs had no run too them at all, toast burnt, plate small and overflowing hard to cut and eat items together. Expected more from the look of the venue. I’ve been here a few times now for breakfast and lunch and quite like the place<br/ <br/ The bacon and eggs, for breakfast is a good choice with a good portion size. <br/ <br/ The burger here was fantastic, the shake was pretty decent too. The coffee here is pretty good. <br/ <br/ The price was a tad more then I was willing to spend but worth it. The service was ok, nothing special. I wouldn’t mind trying it out again sometime soon.
Excellent muffins and proper chai lattes. They make their own food rather than buy it in from some dodgy cafe supplier. A big plus for Soma’s kitchen. This is why it was packed. They should open up another in the cbd.
Small cafe on a corner but handily situated near the Ultimo TAFE and UTS (and the ABC studios). A short but healthy menu (with a couple of staples and treats in the cold display). I had the kale Caesar salad. The salad was vegan so I added chicken but to be honest, it would have been fine without. Serving size was huge and I can honestly say it was THE most amazing Caesar salad I’ve ever had! I will definitely got back to try other items, or just for that salad again.
Great coffee, great atmosphere! All you could ask for in a great cafe!
Really good coffee with a nice atmosphere. Location makes it easy to spot. In terms of food, breakfast is offered before 11 and lunch is offered after 12. In between, there are only sandwiches. The place gets a mix of working professionals and a younger crowd.
