We were gutted when the Broadway Papa Rich shut down and went to Chatswood and the city for our ‘Malaysian fix’, but so happy this place opened. The portions are generous; including the quality of the produce and cooking. 4 king prawns in my Wat Tan Hor on Thursday lunchtime and last night I went to the Chatswood franchise and ordered the same Wat Tan Hor and only got 2 prawns. Also 4 king prawns in the Char Kway Teow and great wok cooking too so the flavour is amazing. The only downside to this place is that it is inside the university with very restrictive operating hours and access. If you are going here on Saturday you must come in from the front via UTS Security and state your purpose for entering the university grounds. You may be rejected but I had my kid and a friend so we looked non threatening I guess? Also this place doesn’t open on Sundays and doesn’t allow to pre order so most of the time 9/10 you are left waiting 20 mins+ for overs over $55 during peak hours. I guess they can’t have pre orders as staff are limited and they also have to attend to the delivery apps orders. But all in all, if you are willing to eat at certain days and hours, and willing to wait for you meal, this place is great generous portions and great quality produce! Thank you!
