I can't share the negatiw reviews. we had cakes, tee and d kakao and were served nice and courteous. the cake was delicious, the drinks as they should be. my tip is oma’s plum cake. That's one of the best I ever could taste. View all feedback.
What Hugh Greenfelder doesn't like about Staibs Brotbar:
the service is very inattentive and overwhelmed. it takes forever before you can give up the order and when you pay it is the same. I also believe that you can be happy there if strangers find the way to avoid people from my knowledge to go there. The eating is not bad, but certainly not freshly cooked, I think they should sell only coffee and cake. We had decided that we weren't prepared to pay for the exorbitant prices for the buffet breakfast in our nearby hotel so found this place as an alternative. We entered via the bakery which was full of delicious bread goodies. We were then guided further...to the bistro area where breakfast and snacks was being served. To be honest the choice on the menu didn't look as interesting as the choice in the bakery. But we decided to stay and try it out. I ended up ordering the omelette with some bread rolls. The rest of the family preferred bread rolls with Nutella and jam. The number of times we had to call the waitress back to correct what she was bringing us was a bit silly. She forgot my milky coffee and mixed up the flavours of the drinks for the other family members as she desperately tried to meet everybody demands I mean they were busy that Monday morning. We got through the experience and, as the pressure died down we had a chance to talk to our poor waitress. She had just come back on duty after her own vacations and was more or less left to cope with all the diners on her own, poor girl. Something for management to get a grips with...
Good selection of baked goods, including seasoned and filled products. we try a brot filled with ham and salat with pumpkin seeds and cheese glaze, overall a good sandwich, as well as a classic pulp. on the table we sat on this place at midday, which was historically only a bakery, now a real bakery bar! good solution for hurly.
Staib’s brotbar is connected to the bakery next door. the atmosphere is quite simple, but beautiful. they get a nice, decent breakfast at a very reasonable price with fresh bread.

We were six breakfasts and were all satisfied. the personal has improved. we're all going down.
