They... read more After a successful wander around all the old parts of this lovely town, I emerged from the Fishermen's Quarter and stumbled on the John Benton restaurant. They have a good number of chairs and tables outside with a view over to the old Town Hall...(Rathaus). I settled into a bistro chair outside and ordered a large glass of the local Gold Ochsen lager type beer Ulm's self proclaimed liquid gold. I then decided to take my time and embark on some serious people watching. Even though most other customers were eating I wasn't put under any pressure to order food, nor to move on. What a nice way to spend a relaxing afternoon when on vacation.

The steak was good, and the potatoes were great! Nice beer options. The French Onion soup was satisfying. We enjoyed dining here in the town center.
