The hacker Pschorr is one of the many petty-bourgeois restaurants in Ulm, but with emphasis on good. I was there for business and IBIS. And after the trip and arrival at the hotel in the evenings are hungry. So call, QYPE and circle. Result: a cocktail bar, a Thai country and the hacker Pschorr. That was the next and for cocktails it was too early. First impression: a successful mix of tradition and modernity. In the exterior, stylish blue lights (the blue always appears in the interior and probably comes from the company logo). It went through a modern glass door. Inside was practically all occupied, the store was brutal! Many different and inviting seating options, from round table to window. I found a nice table at the window in the next room, next to an international group of scientists who were delighted to speak. Until food came and everything was food. On the wall one of the unavoidable rhythms about roughness and its consequences. On the neat and clean table cutlery as in Bavaria and a map that put value on traditional Bavarian dishes. There are two other restaurants of this type: in Regensburg and Hamburg. The dishes were described in some paintings. And there were specials, such as a certain pigeon or a reindeer, which is a tub with things inside for several people, where the content will bring people with cholesterol deficiency forward. There are also soups, salads and other smaller dishes. OK, no wish for Squirt today I ordered half a cellar beer (3,50 EUR) and a pork carving Viennese type with white bread crumbs, roasted in butter, with cranberries, lemon carving, with bacon potatoes. That's the map. For 11 euros. The beer didn't wait long, it was from the barrel, with a little less carbonic acid, fresh, drinkable, sweet. In society, it might not have been half. The carving came after about 20min and was really good. There were two hand-sized pieces, flattened, clean pan and gently light brown and evenly baked. So not in the smoking pan and then partially hard or black. Meat was good too. Almost better were the roast potatoes. In my opinion, perfectly roasted, evenly through, slightly pink, but not too much, aromatically a poem. I was new to the cranberries, but okay, with pork that fits. The professional operation was not an oversize of goodness, but of course and right. All in all, I had nothing to do with the evening. And apparently the many other guests see it similar.
The things I ordered on the map are appealingly dressed and are always brought warm. The waiters are very sympathetic and very accommodating every time. This makes me and my husband a lot of pleasure every visit.The location is super easy to reach! The good transport connection makes a visit possible promptly.This restaurant really has potential to become my next favorite place.
For the planned Christmas dinner on 25.12. my friends, the ordered goose with dumplings and blue wort, picked up with you. The pickup was friendly, easy and everything was already prepared. After we not only live around the corner (27 km) it was unfortunately, despite the good transport packaging made of polystyrene, no longer very hot. But this could not affect the great taste and we were all totally thrilled!! Also the dumplings, as well as the blue herb and only the tasty filling, were just super A little note though I would have:” The sauce was too little!” The double amount would have been perfect, just because of the dumplings. Surely we will return to you, order the delicious food, but ONLY with the double amount of sauce. By the way... this was also very good, because only then would you want to get away with it!!
