we had a nice dinner in a quiet but welcoming atmosphere. it is very expensive, but eating and crying were above average. check their bill - they have accidentally added €19.20 to our bill and calculated for 2 weine instead of one (yes - it was so much for 1/4 liter). also we had to ask for our change (they really wanted the extra €20!). but good eating and they have really tried to fulfill special nutritional needs... What Kusum Salvi doesn't like about Boccaccio:
looking for a stylish and relaxed or a spontaneous Italian family ambience?...Do you want another place. This house is for stylish eating with business friends in a modern, reduced art and wise. the city of ulm lies to them to feet, the scenery of the restaurant is an art work of beach flooded wood. Feed and drink are in harmony with its surroundings ... must go more often to get this place in the grip. . View all feedback.
Extraordinary! the kitchen has a starter of bruschetta. the brot was perfectly cooked and the tomatoes were very fresh. the appetizer with melone and calamari was very tasty. they had fresh sole that was fantastic. the calf was prepared as if it pan roasted. it was also very delicious. now comes dessert. the chocolate mousse was very good. the limoncello jagged ice was great! we actually order another service that was good! the service was friendly, helpful and efficient. thanks for the great food!
I visited the ristorante boccaccio together with a business friend for many paintings and also this year we had dinner there. the greeting of padrone enzo and daughter anna was very warm and the service that was obligated to ususal. as an aperitif I have absolutely enjoyed a perfect mixed negroni cocktail together with the pizza fruit starter. the spicy taste polipetti alla luciana by pomodorini, olive nere di gaeta, capperi e disc croccante profumato all’aglio (small otopus with tomato, olive and kapern, served with garlic croutons) was a paleable appetizer. as a main course I decided to have a perfectly grilled tagliata di manzo con insalatina di rucola, scalie di parmigiano e riduzione di aceto balsamico (grounded bark steak with rakete salat, Parmesan cheese and balsamico vinegar) and tasteful leaf spinat as added on. accompanied by a bottle mineralic, tenuta asinara indolente vermentino di sardegna white one, the delicious dinner was a real pleasure. an espresso doppio, paired with a cask-old grappa from berta, has perfectly completed the evening. the ristorante boccaccio is still a recommended address for Italian dinner and worth a visit.
I visited the boccaccio again together with a business friend. we had the same warm welcome and attentive service of chef enzo and his charming daughter anna, as usual. first I had a perfectly mixed negroni cocktail together with a tomato-based Bruschetta star. the pan-fried...pilgrims skalopps on brazed vegetables with the limit of aceto balsamico was a hearty appetizer. the main dish is powdered and sepia from the pan, served on pea crème, black olives and candied tomatoes. it was a very palatable seafood combination along with roasted carrots and tasteful leaf spinat as add ons. embedded by a bottle of fresh and mineral ghiaiolo sauvignon blanc white wine from orlandi cuntucci ponno weinbergen in italien, the dinner was a very delightful culinary pleasure. an espresso doppio, paired with a cask-old, complex, flowering fragrance magia grappa from berta, has perfectly completed the evening. the boccaccio is still a good address to dinner and is worth visiting this restaurant again.
We were strangers in an unknown country. this restaurant was exceptional! the food was prepared from fresh local ingredients and served with a dig. the room is beautiful and we were made to feel special. we don't speak German and it wasn't a problem. there is an extensive wine list and server/owners are well versed and helpful. a special night.
Never have been in such a good restaurant, fish and meat is amazing, it comes fast. Its not a cheap place, but the quality is great. Also great soups. Service could be a bit more attentive about refilling water or wine.
