The view is cool. Ulan Ude isn't the prettiest town in the world, but you get a chance to see the hills beyond. I had to wait 10mins for a beer which was sad. S... read more The view is cool. Ulan Ude isn't the prettiest town in the world, but you get a chance to see the hills beyond. I had to wait 10mins for a beer which was sad. Stock levels were also depressing for replacements. Potato cakes were tasty though. Fun for a beer on a summer evening but not good for much else.
