If I hadn't been so hungry, I likely wouldn't have eaten anything at all. I ordered the dinner plate and found that everything on it was subpar. The fries were soggy and cold, the corn lacked flavor even with butter and salt, the macaroni and cheese was watery and bland, the coleslaw was mushy, and even the garlic bread was lacking. The smoked brisket did not have a smoky flavor and was incredibly dry. My fiance's ribs, while tasty, were also dry. I only gave the restaurant one star for the service and the taste of the barbecue sauce. Overall, I left feeling disappointed.

The meat was tender and flavorful, leaving a smoky taste in the mouth. The chicken sandwich was particularly outstanding. The portions were generous, with the Tri-Tip Chili being a favorite side dish. The bread used for the sandwiches and garlic bread was fresh and soft. The food was served quickly and the service was excellent. The Covid safety precautions were well-implemented, with tables placed far apart. The atmosphere was pleasant, with music playing both indoors and outdoors. I will definitely be returning soon. 5-star review based on an experience in October 2020.

The meat tastes like it's been sitting in the fridge for a few days. Pretty much the only redeemable thing about this place is the sandwiches and you can get a better sandwich at the bottleshop.
