The service at this restaurant was good, but unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. If I hadn't been so hungry, I likely wouldn't have eaten anything... read more The service at this restaurant was good, but unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. If I hadn't been so hungry, I likely wouldn't have eaten anything at all. I ordered the dinner plate and found that everything on it was subpar. The fries were soggy and cold, the corn lacked flavor even with butter and salt, the macaroni and cheese was watery and bland, the coleslaw was mushy, and even the garlic bread was lacking. The smoked brisket did not have a smoky flavor and was incredibly dry. My fiance's ribs, while tasty, were also dry. I only gave the restaurant one star for the service and the taste of the barbecue sauce. Overall, I left feeling disappointed.

The place... read more Sad example of a pandemic impacted small business. There were a significant number of closed restaurants in the downtown area so options were limited. The place was quite unkempt and only one waitress was working. She was very friendly and tried her best. The flies were out of control, apparently due to nearby Lake Mendocino having dried up.
