Not a place with that fantastic view but man, what food! Especially the non vegetarian food. Loved it. Absolutely loved it. The chicken preparations were out of this world. A must visit if you are in the vicinity. :) View all feedback.
What Deepesh Choudhury doesn't like about Open Affairs:
worst service ... I hated the place as it spoiled my birthday ... I booked the place for my birthday party a week ago ... but that day the ACs weren't working there and there weren't any fans there which it was us made impossible to stay there as it was a sunny day ..... and we had to move out of there unintentionally ..... my evening completely disappeared .... and I I never want to go there again ... ..... Not a good place to visit. Service is very poor. Ambiance is also not good. Staff is not cooperative. We ordered one biryani and they brought 2 biryani and when asked to take one the staff rudely denied and force us to take it.

Wonderful place to hang out. Good ambiance. Tried Chicken Kerala Kebab, Chicken Lasagna and Lychee high ball. But rating 4 because the serving was very slow and we should remind them two to three times.
Ok so we're tourists and expectations can be low or high depending on the mood of the day and heat of the sun :)) But we went for a late night dinner at this cute rooftop and found the staff helpful and ambience, scenic - with the lake on one side and interesting haveli hotel views on the other. The food was tasty (Indianized versions) and masaledar. So if Indian is what you crave, head out here for delectable potato schezwan, manchurian, chilly chicken, paneer tikka, mutton kofta, and pahadi chicken. The rice could've been better but the garlic naan more than made up for it with its softness and flavor. Do keep half an hour for service as things are made fresh. All in all a good experience with company. But a word of advice - Udaipur in summer - ain't happening. It dilutes all the flavors of the place, flora and fauna with its heat quotient.
The problem with this place is that the staff is totally indifferent. They just dont know what is service, leave aside quality! One has to remind them at least 5-6 times before the food is served. Food is OK, I mean how do u mess up a simple cup of coffee! We were forced to eat there twice as we had checked into their hotel, otherwise I don't know why would anyone want to go there any more than once.
