The place is beautiful and the food was good but unfortuna... read more We visited Botanical Cafe in Udaipur and ordered a classic frappe, a hot mocha and a Chinese sizzler. The place is beautiful and the food was good but unfortunately the service was disappointing. When we arrived no one came to take our order until we called someone over. Our table was dirty and even after requesting it to be cleaned no one came immediately and we had to call multiple times before it was done. There were no glasses or water bottles on the table so we had to ask separately for water. While ordering we tried to ask a few questions about the Chinese sizzler but the person taking the order was not aware of the details and spoke in a very rude manner showing no willingness to answer. No matter how good the food or ambiance is when the staff’s behavior is inattentive it affects the overall experience. For a place where people come to relax and spend their time and money good service is just as important as good food and unfortunately we did not feel that here.
