Was rssrob at Ravenlady a mag?
This was well worth the stop. We had raw oysters. They were kuchis and so fresh. We also had fish tacos. They are not cheap with the food plenty to eat for two. Would highly recommend to anyone. Lots of people were ordering fries with poutine and they looked good too. They open at 12:35. View all feedback.

What Decebal Florescu dislikes about Ravenlady:
The steamed oyster was the best. The others were a bit strange when you are used to eat french oysters. The croquette was good as well but we don't understand why they put ketchup on it. View all feedback.

RavenLady Oyster Forte is more that the sum of its part, which include a charismatic innovative owner, Bruce Schmaltz; oysters sourced locally from Effingham Oyster, an hour away,; inspiring outdoor piazza, accessible central location. This mix make it far more a magical, almost carnival experience, than a food truck serving fine food. Locals — in the spectacular ocean village of Ucluelet, on the west coast of Vancouver Island—love it, as do visitors to the region, all charmed by its outdoor piazza with seating along side its apt outside sculptures. One of the sculptures is that of a female form with a raven from which the food truck, RavenLady, derived its name. Another is Surfer Girl, which speaks to the region being a surf mecca. There is also a homage to trees, another aspect of village life in Ukee, the name locals used to describe their ocean village located in a rainforest. RavenLady’s oyster focused menu is in a sense a homage to the oyster, the bivalve mollusk found in marine brackish habitats, which has been feeding communities for millennia around the world contributing to the health of those who eat this delicious delicacy, which just requires shucking to make it accessible to eat perhaps just a squeeze of lemon, with some fresh grated horseradish. Of course oyster eateries can also include some light dipping sauces, RavenLady has them too. Its menu also lists oysters in cooked form, offering, chowder buns with other offering from the surrounding waters. Its menu is variety gives good value for its quality food. My mother, like me, loved fresh locally harvested oysters, living for many years in another region of the world, which in also in a rainforest, not unlike Ukee, which people also travel to to experience oyster heaven. It is her birthday on February 25 I was thinking of some kind of meal homage with my Ukee family fine fresh oysters came immediately to mine. Then RavenLady came immediately to mind. The very oyster knowledgeable RavenLady’s owner, Schmaltz, to the fore, He I both uber lovers of oysters discussed their myriad health benefits, as well as to global sustainability. There is almost nothing oysters are not good for with their ample micro nutrients, rich in zinc potassium much else. And they are good for a number of stages of life from helping teenagers with acne through to issues of adult life. The shells are good for enriching one’s garden soil. And their marine life activity helps clean marine waters. They also have contributed to literary life with expressions like “the world is your oyster”, as well as centering the Pearl as much desired. Schmaltz says the oysters from Effingham are the best in the world, he knows, he says, as has travelled widely to seek out fine oysters. Now he is associated with providing fine oysters in Ukee. We wanted to have oysters. We asked and were directed to Raven Lady. There were a lot of people eating and waiting for their food. All outside at picnic tables. I ordered raw oysters and my husband had fish and chips. We chatted with everyone and most had some type of oysters. Our order was outstanding. We would definitely visit Raven Lady again.

After visiting Tofino in the daytime, we went over to Ucluelet as that’s where we’re staying on this trip.  Our first night, it took us a while to decide on what to eat for dinner.  We didn’t want just regular pizza and burgers, and I had been wanting oysters, so after much debating, we finally decided on Ravenlady Oyster Forte.

This place is more than just a food truck! The food, art, and people here are amazing. I sampled oysters prepared in three different styles, and each one was fantastic!
