Reviews - Pepper Dining
Reviews summary
Pepper Dining offers a mix of experiences, from slow service and drink mishaps to great food, atmosphere, and service. Despite some hiccups like a breakdown in the chiller and mix-ups with orders, the restaurant still manages to impress with its delicious Indian cuisine and imaginative chef's specials. The naan bread is particularly noteworthy, and the restaurant is a popular choice for a post-cinema meal. Even during busy times, such as Christmas parties, the food remains excellent and the service solid. Overall, Pepper Dining in Uckfield seems to be a favorite among locals and visitors alike, offering a great dining experience with a few bumps along the way.

It would have been great, but unfortunately the restaurant had closed down two days before.
Review of Pepper Dining: The food at Pepper Dining is always delicious. Nasir and his staff are always eager to please.
My partner and I went to Pepper for a relaxing dinner during a short holiday break between Christmas and New Year. It was a quiet evening, as it was a Wednesday, with a few larger groups celebrating birthdays. Despite booking a table online, we had plenty of choices for seating. The menu offered some unique dishes that caught our interest. We started with beautifully cooked and presented seafood appetizers. For our main course, my partner ordered the tandoori lamb chops which were plentiful and delicious. I opted for a king prawn dish that was equally tasty. There was a small mix-up with our order, which was taken on a digital device, resulting in a few dishes we didn't request. However, the mistake was quickly rectified with apologies and a complimentary side dish. Overall, we enjoyed a great meal in a delightful restaurant.
Went the week before christmas, restaurant was busy with a christmas party but food was still excellent. Service was good especially considering the large party that was in. Going back for New Year
Service can be a little slow here we were kept standing for 5 minutes before being seated but the wait is worth it. Very good Indian food; excellent choice including some imaginative chef's specials; and an especially good selection of delicious breads. Possibly the best naan I have eaten. Great for an after cinema meal park behind the restaurant for both venues.

Menu is a little more interesting than the standard high street Indian cuisine. This is the only restaurant we have found locally that serves lassi .
We visited pepper during a short holiday break between christmas and new year. it was a quiet night to be a Wednesday, although there were a few larger groups celebrated birthdays and, although we had booked online, there were many tables to choose from. the menu contained some dishes that we had not met before. we had small but beautifully cooked and presented seafood stars. for the main course my partner chose the tandoori lammings that were plentiful and excellent. I had a royal dish that was just as delicious. there was a light mix with our order that was taken on a digital device, which led to us getting a few dishes that we had not requested! However, this was quickly sorted out, with excuses and a free supplement. a very nice meal in a beautiful restaurant.
