Huge chain of privately owned gas stations with restaurant, snack bar, desserts, sandwiches, soft drinks, coffee shop and many other consumer goods. Pretty much a 7-Eleven on the highway with all the things you'd need on a road trip. Not on the cheap side, but parking and restrooms are free.
