The ham plate was not exceptional , certainly because of the late hour. 10 p.m. The service was laborious and the bread served with the ham... very hard. Luckily our drinks were cold! After research, the restaurant has the worst rating of all the restaurants on the street

Imagine this gastronomic adventure in the heart of Baeza! After wandering around the city without finding a place to eat, we thought of calling this charming bar. And what a success, because the service is more than friendly: the waiter treated us like kings and the chorizo he gave us, a true delight! The cook, for his part, left us speechless with his culinary talent. The menu is a true feast, with a variety that ranges from starters and snacks to succulent meats, fish and house suggestions. All this at prices that make you want to applaud. The value for money is simply phenomenal, and every bite was a feast for the palate. As if this were not enough, each drink comes with a free tapa. The portions are so generous that many of them you can order half a portion, and still be satisfied. And to top off the experience, the Ribera del Duero they serve there is something to sing about with happiness. Without a doubt, we want to return to this delicious corner of Baeza. A culinary experience that cannot be missed!

I was going to start recommending directly but I was shocked by the previous review from a woman from Madrid. I am also from Madrid and I totally disagree. They opened our meal slot five minutes early, letting us sit down and bringing us drinks. When we went to order snails, they explained to us that with each drink they gave us a tapa of whatever we wanted and they brought us three tapas of snails that were really good. We devour them. We then ordered a half portion (because he suggested that for one person who was going to have them, a whole one was going to be a lot) of delicious eggplants with cane honey and a portion of tatters, a typical dish, which he recommended to us and which we loved. All delicious. Super attentive waiter with us and with all the tables. The place was full, and even with the owner of the bar across the street who looked at him with some envy because his tavern was full and the other one was not and our waiter explained to him and explained to us that it was because of the sun. That his tavern is mid-season, because of the sun; In summer it is the other way around and it is the other side of the street that fills up. Who has been in the business for 11 years watching it. I am very sorry for what the previous Madrid native said, but what I experienced was completely opposite. Charming and all very rich. The rags a dish discovery

After visiting Baeza, we returned to Úbeda as we felt there was a wider choice of places for lunch. Managed to get a table in the corner. Everywhere on Calle Real was busy. Mahou beer is the only draught, so we had the excellent house wine instead, a Verdejo and a Ribera del Duero. Grilled cuttle fish for my companion and the Fava Beans with jamon and fried eggs for me. Both dishes were delicious. Service was very good, especially as the place was packed.

Several restaurants to choose from in Calle real, we settled on Patrimonio. Good location for people watching whilst enjoying your meal. The menu of the day is changed daily, with à la carte options too. Drinks order was taken as soon as we arrived and service was attentive. Good food and generous portions.

Invited by a friendly host and cosy looking interior, we decided to have our dinner here. Had some very tasty tapas and raciones, would come back here when I visit Ubeda again. (Hopefully with less children in the restaurant then, that was too much.

We stopped for an early lunch around 1:30 pm and were warmly greeted and drink order promptly taken and served along with olives and bread. We all ordered the menu del dia and were quite pleased with our choices. A pleasant place for lunch.

Food, care and intachable service, although rations are huge and did not warn us. It was impossible to eat everything. The problem is that the door was not hot, it was cold and in as much or more than outside. We stayed ice cream supper.
