Delicious food, presented well, fresh and filling. We stopped by for lunch and had our modest expectations blown away. The lunch portions were generous and priced remarkably well £5 per main course). Also, the service and amenities were quite welcoming to our family as they provided high chairs and children's cutlery. Fantastic experience.
Was pleasantly surprised with our visit to Proper Gander. The staff were attentive, friendly and polite. Despite being a cosy place it did not feel cramped. The food was delicious and very well presented,. We will definitely be going back again in the future. Thank you 5 stars
Food is very good quality and the staff are all lovely and very knowledgeable! Couldn't recommend enough.
A pleasant atmosphere and attentive staff. The lamb main course was a real highlight. Our starters were nice enough but would have benefitted from more seasoning. With fine dining sized portions, an option to order additional vegetables would have been very welcome. We would certainly like to visit again. Thank you. Extremely impressed with the food, very tasty, well presented and great portions. A varied menu for all tastes, unusual and delicious dishes to choose from. Staff were friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere. Although small, very cosy with good décor and music. Extremely sophisticated at reasonable prices, perfect for any occasion.
