Was a wonderful experience. Really wish I ordered the pizza over the lasagna but everything tasted great. I got the dough balls lasagna and had a chance to have a few slices of their margarita pizza. If given a shot, I'm trying a pepperoni pizza next time. Service was professional, friendly, and present. Loved the vibe I was getting from the environment. If you can, stop here and give it a try! We hadn't visited this restaurant in a couple of years and had good memories of it being a special place (we had brought guests here as it was at the top of our list of local restaurants), but our recent experience this week was disappointing. The staff member who greeted us at the door seemed disinterested in being at work, showing no signs of friendliness or engaging in any conversation throughout the evening, including when we paid the bill. First impressions are important. Unfortunately, the food was also lacking. Although the menu descriptions were intriguing with a variety of options, none of our appetizers or main dishes stood out - where were the promised flavors? Bruschetta without garlic or basil? Overall, the food was just "okay" but not worth the price. It seemed like cheap ingredients were used and corners were cut to save money. The restaurant still has a nice ambiance and I'm sure it's lively on weekends, but this historic place deserves better. We will be exploring other dining options in the future. It's a shame, as this restaurant has the potential to be truly special.
We attended with a large party for a special wedding anniversary. The manager, Adi, couldn't have been more helpful from the initial booking, to throughout the night. All of the staff provided a great service, the food went down really well with everyone and the atmosphere was really good and made all the more special with the presentation of a special cake which the staff were happy to join in with! Really disappointed with our visit, service was absolutely shocking.... miserable staff, waiting ages for our starters then forever for our mains, sat with empty plates just watching staff pass not bothered really....food was ok but wouldn't return.
